Terms of Service

Last updated August 10, 2026

These terms cover websites and related services supplied by Site Forge Pro. By paying an invoice or a payment link, you agree to them.

What we do

We design and build websites for small businesses, and we offer optional hosting, maintenance and search-optimisation services. Everything we sell is a service delivered by us directly to you.

Free mockups

A free mockup is a concept prepared for your review. It costs nothing and puts you under no obligation. It stays online at a private link for 21 days. Until it is paid for, the design remains ours and is not licensed for you to use, publish or copy.

Building your site

Once you approve a mockup and pay, we build the site. A typical build is finished within two weeks of us having your content, photos and any logins we need — often sooner. Delays in getting those from you move the date.

Each package includes a set number of pages, shown on our pricing page. Extra pages or a change of direction after work has started are quoted separately.

What you own

Once your invoice is paid in full, the finished website — design, layout, code and your content — is yours. We deliver it as a complete ZIP file at no extra cost. If you would rather we loaded it onto your own hosting for you, that is a one-time $99, and you give us access to do it. If we host it for you instead, that is the Hosting & Care plan.

If you buy Site Migration we will ask for your hosting login on a secure form after payment. Please set a temporary password for us and change it once we are finished. We use it only to upload your site and we delete it afterwards. Never send us a password by reply email.

Two limits worth knowing:

We may show the finished site in our portfolio. Tell us if you would rather we did not.

Hosting and care

Hosting and care is optional and monthly. If we host your site we include the SSL certificate and Google and Bing Search Console setup. If you host it yourself, SSL comes from your host.

If a care plan lapses, the site keeps working but we stop maintaining, backing up and supporting it.

If a payment fails

Cards expire and banks block things; we assume nothing has gone wrong. Here is exactly what happens, and we do not deviate from it:

  1. We email you the same day. Your site stays online.
  2. Stripe automatically retries the card over roughly the next two weeks. Each attempt that fails triggers another email. Your site is still online throughout.
  3. If every retry fails, you get a final notice giving you seven days’ written warning before anything changes.
  4. Only then does the plan lapse and the site move to a temporary holding page.

Cancelling, and what happens to your site

You can cancel a monthly service yourself at any time at siteforgepro.com/billing, or by telling us. Cancelling stops the next payment; the service runs to the end of the period you have already paid for.

What happens next depends on whether the build has been paid for. These are the only two cases, and we do not deviate from them.

If you bought your website outright (Essential, Professional or Premium, with or without a care plan) it is your property, and a lapsed hosting plan is not a forfeiture of it. We do not delete it. Instead:

If you are on a monthly plan ($99 or $149), the build was included rather than bought, so the site is licensed to you for as long as the plan runs. When it ends:

Either way we tell you in writing before anything changes, and your own content — your text, your photos, your logo — is always yours and always available on request.

If you would rather move the site to your own hosting than let it lapse, say so and we will help you do that instead.

The monthly plan

The monthly website plan is month to month with no minimum term. Cancel any time — or buy the site outright any time — and the plan stops at the end of the period you have already paid for. While it is active we host, maintain and update the site for you.

There is one important difference between this plan and buying a website outright. The plan includes the build instead of charging for it up front, so while you are on the plan the website is licensed to you rather than owned by you. If the plan ends, the site comes down and we do not send you the files, because the build itself has not been paid for. That is the trade for not paying $899 to $3,500 on day one.

You can buy it outright whenever you like. The price is the normal one-time price for that size of site, less everything you have paid on the plan in the previous 12 months. Once it is paid off the website is yours exactly as if you had bought it at the start, and you keep the files whatever happens afterwards. Ask us and we will tell you the current figure.

Your side of it

You confirm you have the right to use the text, images, logos and other material you give us. You are responsible for what your website says.

Things we can’t promise

We build sites to be found — correct structure, sitemaps, search-console setup and AI-readable markup. Nobody can promise a particular Google ranking, a number of leads, or that an AI assistant will mention you. Anyone who does is guessing.

Liability

Our liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the service the claim relates to. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses.

Ending it

Either of us can end an ongoing service with 30 days’ notice. Work already completed is payable.
